Honesty, Respect, Responsibility

Welcome to the Waikiki Primary School website. Our school is located in the suburb of Waikiki in the City of Rockingham, Western Australia. We are an Independent Pubic School catering for 340 Kindergarten to Year 6 students from our local area. We are part of the Peron North Education Network comprising of the public schools in the northern area of Rockingham.

Waikiki Primary opened its doors in 2002 in a ‘school in houses’ design that was a temporary facility until our current school was built in 2008. Our buildings and grounds provide a safe and engaging learning environment for our students. We prize the values of honesty, respect and responsibility and strive to live those values as a whole school community every day. Our school enjoys strong community support through our School Board and an active Parents and Citizens group. We have a highly motivated and committed staff who are focused on providing the best learning opportunities we can for our students. Together we strive to provide an inclusive, supportive and challenging learning environment for all of our students.

We host a community playgroup at our school for families of children who are of a pre-school age each Thursday, and have arrangements with the YMCA to provide a before and after-school care for students in our community. We are proud that the vast majority of our students transition to Safety Bay Senior High School in Year 7.

Enrolment and other procedural information can be found in the relevant areas of our website, and our community can follow us on our Facebook page and our Skoolbag phone app for various updates and school news on a regular basis.
